Happy Grandparents Day!
Today we’re celebrating the people who shaped us. The ones who taught us that home is more than four walls, that stability can look like a quiet porch conversation, and that a little encouragement (even cardboard wings and rubber bands) can carry us further than we ever expected.

Some of our team is lucky enough to still call, visit, or sit under the gazebo with theirs. Others carry their grandparents only in memory now, and we hold space for that too – because the love doesn’t end, it just becomes the foundation we build on.

However you’re celebrating today, we hope you take a moment to remember the people who made you who you are.

If you love some time outside, you won’t want to miss this: Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park.

This provincial park, just outside St. Albert and a short drive on the Henday from the west end of Edmonton, is the perfect warm-evening walk.

With plenty of spots to stop and watch birds, take in the other wildlife, or watch the sunset. This is a must-see spot.

Here’s how we’d enjoy this spot:

☕️Stop at your favourite coffee shop and grab a beverage and a snack.

🍃Walk the boardwalk and take plenty of breaks to read about the wetlands and enjoy the ducks and other birds.

🌅If you can be there for sunset, this is our favourite time of day to be here.
