It's a sad day to hear of the loss of one of REMAX Co-Founder, Gail Liniger.

REMAX River City was founded in 1986, during a period of incredible growth for REMAX across Canada and North America. In many ways, our own history has been shaped by the vision, entrepreneurship and leadership of Dave and Gail Liniger.

For decades, Gail was an inspiration—not only as an entrepreneur and leader, but through her passion for advancing women in real estate, her commitment to giving back through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, and the example she set for professionalism and leadership throughout our industry.

Her impact reaches far beyond the organization she helped build. It can be seen in the careers she influenced, the communities she helped support, and the opportunities she helped create for generations of real estate professionals.

Our thoughts are with Dave, their family, and the entire REMAX community as we remember and celebrate Gail’s remarkable life and legacy.

Edmonton's housing market just flipped from a full-on seller's frenzy to something a lot more balanced — but the story looks very different depending on what you're buying.

Listings up ~18% YoY, sales down ~11% — inventory finally caught up
Detached homes: still a seller's market (2.4 months of inventory)
Condos: strongest buyer leverage in years (5.1 months of inventory)
Edmonton's avg. detached home (~$590K) costs less than half of Toronto's (~$1.40M)
