Now this is a GOOD initiative we can get behind!
The City of Edmonton has officially launched a new initiative to celebrate playoff season — the “Playoff Spirit Initiative.” 🏒

When the Oilers make the playoffs, select areas of the city will see snow dyed Oilers orange to show support for the team and build excitement across the community. 🟠

The pilot program has plans to expand to other neighbourhoods as the team progresses through the playoffs! Should the snow melt, there will be snow makers put in Ice District in the fan zone watch party areas!

Fans are encouraged to grab their jerseys, head downtown, and show their support as the city turns a little more orange for the playoffs.
