Some days feel like summer,
some days randomly end in a blizzard ❄️

But through all the unpredictability, I feel so grateful to be part of a brokerage that aligns so deeply with who I am - kind, honest, supportive, and community-driven 💖

Real estate may be an individual career, but it’s so much more meaningful when you’re surrounded by people you can truly call friends 🥰

💖Making Movement More Accessible in Our Community💖

A little story about me.

I spent years in competitive cheer, but as my body changed over time, I realized the sport wasn’t serving me in the same way it once had. That’s when I found dance and quickly fell in love with the technique, creativity, and self-expression it offers.

As I transitioned from taking classes to teaching them, I noticed something important: access to dance and movement isn’t always easy. Between financial strain, busy schedules, and physical limitations, many people simply don’t have the opportunity.

So for the past 7 weeks, I volunteered my time and covered studio space to host free drop-in dance classes for the community.

During those weeks I met incredible people, some trying dance for the first time, some returning after years away, and others who simply wanted a welcoming space to move and connect!

It reminded me how powerful community spaces can be.

There’s already interest in bringing more of these classes to different spaces, and I’m also exploring bringing movement workshops to professional teams and workplaces as a way to encourage connection, confidence, and wellness!

Giving back in this way has been one of the most meaningful experiences for me.

If I organized another round, would you be interested in:

• Free community drop-in classes
• Workplace / team movement workshops
• Something else?

Have you tried dancing before? Is it terrifying to you? Let me know!

I’d love to hear your thoughts. 💖

Thinking about your next move? 🏡 Let’s break down owning vs. renting!

Owning a home allows you to build equity over time, benefit from potential property appreciation, and create long-term financial stability. It can also serve as a valuable asset for retirement planning.

Renting offers flexibility, predictable monthly payments, and fewer maintenance responsibilities, which can be ideal for short-term living or uncertain markets.

Understanding the financial and lifestyle implications of each option can help you make informed decisions about your next move.

💡 Curious which path is right for you? Let’s break it down together!

Real estate is about so much more than buying and selling, it’s about relationships, trust, and helping people move confidently into their next chapter.

This place really stole my heart! It is one of my favourite local spots in Edmonton!

Art of Cake. 🍰

Not only are their cakes absolutely beautiful, but they taste just as good as they look. Everything feels thoughtfully made, and you can tell a lot of love goes into what they do.

It’s one of those places that feels perfect for:
✨ celebrating a special occasion
✨ picking up a treat for a friend
✨ or just grabbing a coffee and something sweet on a random afternoon

I’m a big believer in supporting local businesses that add personality and creativity to our city, and this is definitely one of them.

If you haven’t checked it out yet, add it to your Edmonton must-visit list! 🙌

And if you have a favourite treat from there… I need to know what I should try next. 😋

🏡 First-Time Homebuyer Financial Checklist 🏠

A simple guide to feel prepared and confident.
Buying your first home doesn’t start with scrolling listings; it starts with financial clarity. Here’s a straightforward checklist to help you prepare:

✅ 1. Know Your Budget (Not Just What You’re Approved For)
Just because a lender approves you for a certain amount doesn’t mean you need to spend it. Choose a monthly payment that feels comfortable for your lifestyle.

✅ 2. Save for Your Down Payment
You don’t always need 20% down. Many first-time buyers purchase with less!

✅ 3. Plan for Closing Costs
Beyond your down payment, budget for:
Legal fees
Home inspection
Adjustments (property taxes, utilities)
Moving expenses
Planning ahead = fewer surprises!

✅ 4. Get Pre-Approved Early
Pre-approval gives you:
A clear price range
Stronger negotiating power
Confidence when making an offer
It’s information, not an obligation.

✅ 5. Keep Your Finances Stable
Once you start the buying process:
-Avoid large purchases
-Don’t open new credit accounts
-Keep employment steady if possible
Lenders re-check before funding.

✅ 6. Build an Emergency Cushion
Homeownership comes with responsibility. Having savings set aside for maintenance or unexpected repairs brings peace of mind!

💡 The biggest financial tip?
Education before emotion. The more prepared you are, the more confident your decisions will feel.
If you’re a first-time buyer and have questions about where you stand financially, I’m always happy to walk through it with you - no pressure, just clarity.
