🇨🇦🏃‍♀️ TERRY FOX FUN WALK / RUN Our Little Champions! 🏃‍♂️❤️

Today we joined the annual Terry Fox Run — Little Champions Fun Walk / Run — on big school field.

Our little runners put on their orange vests with "TERRY FOX RUN - Little Champions - Try Like Terry!" and ran with big hearts across the green grass! Look at them go! ☀️

Before our run, we talked about Terry Fox, a brave Canadian hero who ran across Canada to help others. We learned that even the smallest feet can make a big difference when we run with kindness.

So much joy, fresh air, friendship and Canadian pride! So proud of our little champions! ❤️

PUMPKIN SENSORY EXPLORATION DAY! 🐝🍂
Today was all about feeling, touching, and exploring! Our pumpkin table was a full sensory invitation — a big soft-and-slimey pumpkin inside, bumpy little gourds, crunchy fall leaves, smooth seeds, wooden scoops and tweezers. We spent a long time just exploring with our senses: ✋ Tactile 👀 Visual 🤏 Fine motor 👃 Smell & touch 👫 Social-emotional Additionally, we all were very engaged, calm and cooperative — sharing tools and exploring side-by-side. Today’s experience was pure sensory development and well-being.

Welcome to Busy Bee Family, Victor!

Victor had his very first day with us today and did SO amazing! He explored, played, built tall towers with blocks, and was all smiles.

🥔🎨 POTATO STAMPING FUN TODAY - SIMPLE & BEAUTIFUL! 🎨🥔

✨ Today we kept it simple — we cut our potatoes into just TWO halves ✌️ and discovered the magic inside! ✨

👀🤩 We were so curious to see the inside of the potato 🥔💛, then dip the halves into paint 🎨🖌️ and STAMP, STAMP, STAMP! 💥💥💥

⭕ Big circles, 🔵 little prints, 🌈 lots of overlapping colors!

💡 Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most fun — and the messiest! 🤪🙌😊

📦 CARDBOARD BOX PLAY = ENDLESS IMAGINATION!

Today our backyard turned into a construction zone, a castle, a ship, a hiding house... all at once! We climbed, pushed, stacked tall towers, knocked them down 💥, crawled inside, peeked out, balanced, and carried boxes bigger than ourselves! One box became a boat ⛵, another a tower taller than us 🏰, another a cozy house 🏠 There was no plan, just pure open-ended exploration, and it was magical!

🐟 PAPER PLATE FISH CRAFT! 🎨✨

Today our Busy Bees 🐝 turned simple paper plates into the most colorful, dotty, googly-eyed fish! 🌈🐠

With 🖍️ crayons, markers, dot stickers 🔴🟡🟢🔵 and big 👀 googly eyes, each fish got its own personality! 💫

We 🎨 colored, we peeled and stuck 👉 — such great work for our little fingers! 🤲

So much 😊 joy, so much 🎨 creativity, so much 👀 focus at the craft table! 💛

Each fish was unique — just like our little artists! 🌟

👮‍♀️👩‍⚕️👨‍🍳 Community Helpers Play! 🧑‍🚒🌱

Today, our little learners stepped into the shoes of some of the amazing people who help make our community a better, safer, and happier place! 🐝💛

✨ Look at our little helpers in action:
💇‍♀️ Hairdressers — brushing, styling, and giving our dolls fabulous hair!
👨‍🍳 Chefs — cooking up yummy pretend meals in chef hats and aprons.
👮 Police Officers — learning about safety while wearing badges and vests.
🩺 Doctors — caring for their patients with stethoscopes and doctor kits.
🌷 Gardeners — planting flowers and taking care of our plants.
🚒 Firefighters — learning about fire safety and helping others in emergencies.

Through dress-up, imaginative play, and hands-on activities, the children explored different careers while building confidence, communication skills, creativity, and a deeper understanding of how we can all be helpers. 💕

🌟 Every job matters, and every little helper has an important role to play! 🌟

🐝🔤 Today’s Activity: Alphabet Hunt! 🌿✨

Today, our backyard transformed into a fun-filled Alphabet Hunt! 🔎💛

Colorful foam letters were hidden throughout our play area, around the slide, and even in the garden. Armed with a checklist, clipboard, and basket, our little learners set off on a mission to find their letters! 🧺📝

They searched, collected, matched, and checked off each letter as they went — turning outdoor play into an exciting learning adventure! 🌳🌼

We also added large white letters for extra exploring, matching, and letter recognition. 💡

Because at Busy Bee Dayhome, learning doesn’t have to happen at a desk — sometimes the best classroom is right outside, even under the apple tree! 🍎🐝💕

National Dog Day Celebration! 🐶💛

Wag, play, learn, and celebrate our furry friends! 🐾 Today we had so much fun learning all about dogs. We pretended to feed our very hungry puppy made from a cardboard box, explored dog plushies, learned fun dog facts, and even shared photos of our own furry friends from home! 🐕📸

Using tongs to “feed the dog” was a BIG hit, giving those little hands a fun workout while practicing fine motor skills, coordination, and lots of giggles! 🥰

We also talked about how to be kind, gentle, and respectful toward animals and how we can help care for our furry friends. ❤️

What a paws-itively fun day! 🐾✨
