Everything, including our cities had to pivot a lot in the last year. One of the beautiful things that came from that was outdoor art spaces. Restaurants, bars, and brave entrepreneurs took the time and risk to give people some of what we all missed and needed so badly. This is an outdoor/alley stage that Rocky Mountain Ice House put up, but there are a ton and they’re all so needed and appreciated. Root 107 is another great space that is free, but Edmonton Downtown Business Association tracks the live shows in the core pretty well if you’re craving live music and art. Hope you get to enjoy some of these spaces. ✨🥂✨

This family honestly are true gold star buyers to me. They took the time to learn and explore the market they were in, understand their finances, and get rooted with their needs and values. Seeing the growth in people’s real estate journey is honestly pure joy to me. Truly, embracing the journey is what makes not only your house at home, but also a strong investment. Take the time people! I’ve told these two they need to be part of support network I’m going to create for my future buyers when it gets tough!! (Joking but maybe not!) DONT GIVE UP! Getting possession of our family home 5 days after becoming new parents may be up on the list of one of the craziest things we have done. It’s been a BUSY few months! Interest rates were incredibly low (still are very low), and there was a lot of pent up energy that exhausted a lot of Edmonton and area housing inventory very quickly! Sales were up last month 52% from the month before and over 100% from the year before (no surprise there)! I have been working extremely hard to help both my buyers and sellers to take advantage of the best opportunities this market had (and still has!) to offer. That being said, I’ve also taken more time to be outside in my spare moments and enjoy our city. Spotted these under James Macdonald Bridge on a walk the other day.

My first time donating. I always wanted to, so I finally did it!
Was very easy to book, and super efficient. They’re all about getting you in and out, while maintaining your and everyone’s health and safety the entire time. In and out is about an hour, there’s free parking, and very social distanced and sanitized. I was pretty tired after but there’s lots of snacks / juice if you need. Don’t plan big energy activities after, but otherwise you’re good! They need blood, especially now, as less people are out. Either way, hope you’re all taking care of yourselves. ♥️♥️
