♻️ One person’s “I don’t need this anymore” is another person’s “OMG, I’ve been looking for one of these!” 😂

It’s almost time for Curbside Exchange Days! 🎉

📅 September 11–13, 2026

Here’s how it works:
👉 Put your reusable household items at the end of your laneway, clearly marked FREE, by 5 PM Friday, September 11.
🛍️ Then let the neighbourhood treasure hunting begin!
🚨 Whatever doesn’t find a new home must be brought back in by 8 AM Sunday, September 13.

It’s a great way to declutter, keep perfectly good stuff out of the landfill, and maybe score a little treasure of your own. Win-win! 🙌

And remember… one person’s junk is another person’s “I can totally use that!” 😉

Grey County’s summer market is creating more thoughtful opportunities for both buyers and sellers.

With spring activity carrying into summer, the pace has shifted from fast moving to more considered. Buyers have more choice than in recent years, while well prepared starter homes continue to attract interest from motivated purchasers.

Summer also highlights what makes properties stand out, especially outdoor spaces, yards, and lifestyle features that matter more than ever to today’s buyers.

For many people, this season offers a chance to both sell and buy within the same window and move into a home that better fits their next chapter.

If you were planning a move, what kind of home would best suit your lifestyle next?

Grey County's summer market is creating opportunities for starter-home sellers who are thinking about their next move.

With more listings available than we've seen in some recent years, buyers have greater choice, but well-priced, well-presented homes are still attracting attention. Many buyers continue to be motivated by lifestyle changes, outdoor space, and finding a home that better suits their needs.

For homeowners looking to move up, the current market can offer the advantage of having more options to consider when searching for their next property. Summer is also a great time to showcase outdoor living spaces, gardens, and the features that make a home shine.

If you've been thinking about making a move to a home that better fits your lifestyle, what's the one feature you'd want most in your next home? Share it in the comments below!.

May numbers are in for Southern Grey County! Keep in mind that median sold prices shift based on the mix of properties that sold, so big swings up or down don't always mean the market itself changed. It often just means a different type of home sold that month. Here is how the four municipalities stacked up in May in the detached residential market. Reach out if you have questions about what this means for your area. 👇
