Ann Mackay’s journey into working with animals began with a big move from Nova Scotia to Fort McMurray in 2010. Driven by her lifelong passion for animals, Ann knew she wanted to pursue something she truly loved. In 2012, she began working with pets, quickly establishing a reputation for caring for them as if they were her own—often going above and beyond what their owners would do.
Her dedication to offering the best care led her to seek out training opportunities to further hone her skills and provide the highest level of service for the furry clients she adored. Over the years, Ann gained valuable experience working with several dog-walking services before deciding to take the leap and start her own business. On January 1, 2025, she officially launched Lucky Pups, a pet care service offering a range of services including dog park outings, at-home p*e breaks, and private walks.
Ann is thrilled to embark on this new chapter with Lucky Pups, and she’s excited to continue helping pets thrive while building lasting relationships with their owners.
