As summer approaches and temperatures rise, several roadway repair and repaving projects will be underway across the region.

Like many of you, I share the frustration about the lack of attention our area has received. I have been in regular contact with the Minister of Transportation and Economic Corridors, Hon. Devin Dreeshen , and his staff to ensure that our contractor, Emcon Services Inc., improves service and delivery.

In my role as Chair of the Northern Alberta Development Council, I have travelled extensively throughout Northern Alberta. Investment in Economic Corridors was a key priority highlighted in the report I recently tabled in the Legislature. You can view the report here:
