This home belongs to a retired military member and his wife. His 36 year career brought him to all kinds of different places, Germany, St.John's, NL and to Petawawa, just to name a few. Since we were both posted To Pet, we had to chat about where we lived there and the changes it's gone through.
They too are Newfies and we actually found out that we know some of the same people. You never know how happy it makes you that someone you're getting to know here, is friends with someone I know back home, it brings you closer to that person.
I've been fortunate to experience that twice this week. My military family that were here on HHT this week from Petawawa, actually knows one of my best friends there, because their daughters both dance at Starz in Motion. It's been a great week so far.

Miliary family here on hht and we now have an accepted offer!!!!
Not much to show them, things are going fast, but we ended up with an accepted offer on a home in Oromocto West, which is the perfect location for them since they both will be working in Oromocto.
Looking forward to seeing the sold sign up.

In 2024 we took a trip, a bucket list trip to Europe. We stayed with our good friends who were posted to Belgium at the time. While we were there we visited as many war monuments as time allowed. One of those stops was to Juno Beach. We never thought we'd ever get to experience what it was like to walk on the beaches of Normandy and the feelings that would come with that.
On this day, June 6, D Day, we remember the sacrifices that were made to bring freedom to the world.

I found this incredible azalea at the home I'll be listing next week. I wish everyone could smell through a picture, it's wonderful scent filled the backyard, while the front yard was filled with the soothing aroma of lilacs.☺️💞
