A home can hold a lifetime of memories, but sometimes, it can also start to feel like a lot to keep up with.

The stairs feel steeper. The yard feels bigger. The maintenance list gets longer. And suddenly, the place that once felt easy starts asking more from you than it gives back.

That doesn’t mean you have to make a decision tomorrow. It just means it may be time to look at what life could feel like with a little less stress and a little more support.

We’re featuring another amazing Lily’s Place resident this month, and just look at that face. 🐑

Meet 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻𝗻𝘆.

Johnny arrived at Lily’s Place in April 2023 with his little friend June after being rehomed from Nova Scotia. His former owner wanted a better life for both of them, and Lily’s Place became their safe place to land.

Johnny is the tallest sheep they’ve ever cared for, which makes his sweet little face even better. He’s known as a bit of a boss man, but day by day, he’s settling in and learning that life here is safe, calm, and full of care.

And apparently, when Johnny spots new hay, he has the cutest little trot. A happy dance meets a light jog, which feels very fair.

I’m so glad to support Lily’s Place and the care they provide for animals like Johnny when they need a safe place to land.
