FYI FREDERICTON REGION FOLKS....UPCOMING TRAFFIC CHANGE

R/T...
Beginning Monday June 24th, Regent Street will be closed to all traffic between the intersections of George Street and Needham Street.

- Northbound traffic will be detoured via Dundonald Street, York Street and Brunswick Street.
- Southbound traffic will be detoured via Queen Street, York Street and Dundonald Street.
- Commercial vehicle traffic will be detoured via the nearest posted truck routes. Construction and detour signage will be in place.

The street closure is necessary to accommodate the next phase of infrastructure renewal and will remain in place until mid to late October.

Another school year coming to a close. Today was our last day to volunteer for Student Hunger Program. Today's team was Susan Gormley & Sharon Watts. Thank you to all our REALTOR® volunteers who have assisted with this (sadly) very much needed program every school year.

(Hey, Right Choice Team - heard you finished your shift in 45 minutes with how many volunteers? Susan and Sharon - 58 mins - two-person team! 😉)

So pleased to attend the flag raising for our Fredericton Chamber of Commerce 150th Anniversary on behalf of the New Brunswick Real Estate Board.
Can you imagine....150 years! Sir John A. Macdonald, who had recently been forced out of office as prime minister, and his Conservatives were defeated by the Liberal Party under their new leader Prime Minister Alexander Mackenzie.
The North West Police (now RCMP) were only formed the year before
Mr. Bell had just invented the telephone!

Congratulations on 150 years with 150 more to come! As Morgan stated, "They say the first 150 are the hardest!" :)

Congratulations to the New Brunswick Real Estate Board's REALTORS® from the Miramchi area who held a fundraiser over the weekend for Percy's Place! They raised a total of $34,185 from their Pop-Up Boutique!

Percy's Place is a privately funded, 9 bed hospice, the first stand-alone facility of it's kind in Northern New Brunswick. It overlooks the beautiful Might Miramichi!

Sharon Watts and Justin Morehouse attended the Junior Acheivement Gala earlier this week and were pleased to award Dextor Scott of Bubbles & Beyond his award for the Highest Overall Program Sales! Dextor had over $3800 in sales for his company! Congratulations to Dextor and to all the students involved in the Junior Acheivement Program.
