What a way to start Mother’s Day weekend. ⚡️

Downtown Fredericton felt alive this morning!! Before 8AM Queen Street was packed with runners, music playing through the streets, cheering crowds lining the sidewalks, and complete strangers encouraging each other.

The vibe was electric!
The energy was contagious.

Theres something so powerful about being surrounded by thousands of people all showing up for themselves in their own way. Different stories, different goals, different reasons for being there, but everyone pushing themselves together.

You could feel the excitement everywhere. The nerves, the adrenaline, the pride at the finish line.

Officially crossed the finish line of my first ever 5K today and it felt so incredibly rewarding. Not just because of the run itself, but because of what it represents to me personally.. stepping outside of my comfort zone, committing to something new and following through…. ALWAYS FOLLOW THROUGH!! 💫

So grateful I got to experience this alongside one of my gal pals who’s energy matches mine. And yes! We’re already looking forward to next year! 🙌

Wishing a beautiful Mother’s Day weekend to every kind of mother figure out there. Moms, grandmothers, aunties, stepmoms, chosen family, and the women who show up with love and care every day. 🌷
