The solution to the problem.

After tracing the 1 1/2” ABS pipe I discovered it was capped off in the basement. So no need to keep it as this is the vent stack. One notch in the win column.

Once I get this done I can insulate and vapour barrier the walls and get the tub installed. Then off to the races to get this bathroom back together.

Found where the rodents are getting in on this one. The main vent stack is broke and you can clearly see the daylight. Located this three stud cavities away from where we found an active mice nest yesterday.

We were lucky to find this one. The bathroom remodel was an add on item this week. All due to discovering the burrow holes in the insulation extended behind the 70’s tiled shower.
