A little over a year ago, I put it out to the Creator ✨ to find someone in my industry that truly aligned with who I am..both in and out of business. Join forces and grow our careers, authentically cheering one another on, helping without expected handouts, hierarchies or commission splits. I spoke with my Broker and mentioned that as I kept expanding my business, I was missing that piece in my Real Estate journey. I asked that if he knew of anyone looking to add to their “team” or just collaborate in a non traditional team environment, let me know! I have always been surrounded by strong Women, and I love it. Women that have strengths where I have weaknesses and vice versa. I have longed for that connection in business, always. Building business by building people. Real Estate is tough. Not everyone sees connection or collaboration the same way, and some see it as competition. Ultimately, energy doesn’t lie and you learn quick who's for you and who's not, so finding that person/people who share their true authentic intentions, hasn’t been easy. My Broker listened to me, he understands who I am and I thank him for that because when he text me and said there’s an agent coming to Grassroots, and I think you two would really hit it off..he was right on the money! Heather comes from the not for profit world where you gotta have some big balls to generate millions in rooms filled with millionaires and the good ol’ boys club.. she has vision and guts. I think that’s sexy. I come from creating something from nothing, where failing forward is a right of passage and that’s a pretty cool skillset too. This collaboration isn’t fate, it’s bigger than that. It feels like this was the grand design the entire time in my journey. Two paths in real estate crossed at the perfect moment, creating an energizing atmosphere to work in, build together and enjoy what we are creating!
