Hey Everyone and Happy Spring!

I know I've been quiet on this page for quite some time and truth be told, I had to be. I needed to step away from the industry for a while and tend to some personal matters that I just couldn't continue to put off. Life has certainly had some pretty crazy highs and lows the last couple of years but I'm proud to say that I'm back! I'm back to feeling like myself and with my eyes and passions firmly fixed on presence and continued growth. In my time away, I tried to fit in with other industries and corporate environments and truthfully, nothing felt quite the same as being able to take care of clients and help them find their way home. The world has changed quite a bit it seems since I was last in the Market and with my strong desire to focus my energies locally as much as possible, that has lead me to a new and grassroots brokerage, Your Move Realty Inc. Brokerage. No big name corporate affiliations across the border which means none of your dollars go south. With no shareholders to pay and corporate brands to prop up, I can keep my costs low which means I can keep your value more in your pocket and I'm always eager to do exactly that.

Hey Friends!
I pulled this from a Globe and Mail article online. If you're a potential Buyer or Seller in the market today you'll want this information.

"The Bank of Canada will trim interest rates to 4.75% on June 5, according to three-quarters of economists in a Reuters poll which showed three further cuts this year, with the last one hanging on a knife’s edge."
What does this mean?

It means after June 5th it is highly likely that there will be a wave of new buyers entering the market.
With new buyers come more competition and with competition, prices go up.

If you're a buyer, you may want to try to secure a deal prior to June 5th to miss the wave.

If you're a seller, I would think that listing post June 5th will be a more advantageous time to hit the market, try to catch the wave.

It's a tough market out there so if you're looking to find a representative who cares, who will be there every step of the way, and who will absolutely put you before everything else, I would Love to be that Representative for you.

So very proud to be creating and hosting this event again this year with Jasmine Findlay - Mortgage Agent. Putting these events together and seeing the community come out in great numbers so far has been heartwarming to say the least. I can't wait to see everyone on Mother's Day.

Hey Friends!
I'm taking a break from my social media break because I want to update you on some thoughts I have about the Real Estate Market right now.
Here's what I'm seeing:
There are more listings hitting market than there are going out. There seems to be just as many prices being reduced as sales going out.
Interest rates are beginning to come down.
Here's what this tells me.
With inventory increasing, prices beginning to reduce, and interest rates beginning to adjust towards a new normal, the conditions for buying are improving favorably for Buyers. If you or someone you know has been considering buying a home, if you thought purchasing was going to be out of reach, now might be a great time to contact a mortgage specialist to get your pre-approval. I highly recommend Jasmine Findlay - Mortgage Agent. And when she's able to get you your pre-approval, please reach out to me to help you find your way Home!
Working with Buyers, and especially first time Buyers, is where I really fall in Love with what I do. Lately I haven't been feeling that Love so much, I'll be honest.

No fancy statements or marketing attempts here just a genuine call out from me to you. Are you thinking about making a move and looking to hire a Realtor? Well, it seems like the snow has come to stay for the winter. But that's not the only change recently, lots of changes coming that will change the way that Real Estate is done in Ontario. Agency agreements, offer information disclosure, self representation, and so much more. Stay tuned for more information on what these changes look like.
