I think every renovation has that ONE choice you’re really hoping you got right… and this was mine. 😬😂

I picked this slab pretty early on, then proceeded to second guess my memory of it enough that I went back to visit it more than once. 🤦‍♀️ Thankfully, Jamie at C & M Custom Granite was wildly patient with me, answered ALL of our questions and never once made me feel ridiculous for needing another peek. 😂

And now that it’s here? I would choose it again a hundred times over. ❤️

It’s such a good feeling when something you pictured months ago turns out even better than you imagined. You guys absolutely knocked it out of the park! 🙌

There’s a point in every renovation where you stop having to use your imagination quite so much… and I think we’re officially there. 😍🙌

For so long, we’ve been saying, “Just wait until you see it when…” and suddenly all those little decisions we made months ago are starting to make sense together.

It’s still not finished (although my patience would LOVE for it to be 😂), but this house is finally starting to feel like our home again - only better than we pictured. 🥹❤️

We’re getting dangerously close to the fun part now… and there are still a few surprises coming. 👀🌸

The deal is done, the boxes are (hopefully 😅) unpacked, and life has started to settle into its new normal.
Then a message pops up telling me how happy they are… and honestly, those are the ones that get me every single time. 🥹💙

Because the goal was never just to get you the keys. It was to help you make a decision that still feels like the right one once the excitement is over and real life begins.

We have FLOORS!! 😍🙌 And I genuinely can’t get over how different this house feels already.

One thing we didn’t talk about in the reel was why we chose this flooring. With Larissa Herbert’s help at House of Broadloom Ltd we landed on a high-end laminate that made so much sense for our family. We wanted the look and warmth of hardwood, but we also needed something that could actually handle the way we live. 😂

It’s durable enough for commercial use, water resistant, and has such a realistic wood look that we’re getting everything we wanted without having to worry quite so much about everyday life happening on it. Kids, shoes, spills… bring it on! 🙌

And the best part? Sitting in our living room and seeing the same flooring flow right into the kitchen makes the whole space feel completely different. It honestly feels a little bit like a dream every time we sit down. 🥹🏡

Still lots to come, but THIS was a good week. ❤️

Well THIS feels like a milestone! 🙌🌸

For weeks, every bit of progress seemed to make our house look a little less like a home. Now we’ve officially crossed over to the part where each new step makes it look better… and I am HERE for it. 😍

Seeing the choices we made months ago finally come together in our own space is such a good feeling. There’s still lots to do, but for the first time, we can really see where this is headed. 🏡✨

And apparently one very persistent piece of pink wasn’t quite finished with us yet… 😂🌸

I swear I’ve been training my whole life for this. 😂🏡

Give me a problem and my brain immediately starts working on how we’re going to solve it.

When something unexpected comes up in a real estate transaction, I’m on it. I’m making the calls, looking at the options, talking it through and, when necessary, getting a little creative to find a solution that works for everyone involved. 🧩✨

Not every transaction follows the perfect little path we pictured at the beginning and that’s okay. Sometimes getting from A to B just requires a different route. 💙
