Hello Facebook world, a memory to compare next year. Today started out with about 6 inches of snow, cold, windy, but ended with the Sun shining & melting the snow fast. Trump claiming victory and a deal made with Iran, the markets went back up to point where made up pretty much all that lost in last month. I decided not to go to Regina today for a court date; too much going on and getting reno’s in the house too. I got kicked out while the guys working in house, it’s the strangest feeling to have nowhere to go, so eat in the truck (a&w and kfc lunch and supper) and watch people. The snow clearing kept me busy for most of the day but still get bored waiting when done. So now catchup a bit what’s going on in this world!

For the memory bank - my Mom found this today while going through old pictures. This was the opening day of Painted Hand Casino, 1996, I was 26 and at the time, Assistant General Manager and thought I hit the Jackpot with the job. So many of the team we opened the Casino with have passed on now, very good friends I owe so much too. Theres still many out there from the casino and SIGA I consider life long friends. So many long days, so much work, so many crazy times too. I thank my days with PHC and SIGA, was very lucky.

Call me paranoid but Artificial Intelligence has me worried again, I watched some predictions by Elon Musk, he says in 10 to 20 years people won’t have to work, won’t have to save money, everything will be taken care of by AI - data centers, robots, self driving vehicles. In his vision I’m not sure if the world will be ending or everyone just shares in all resources, either way seems just as scary to get there, the rich and powerful never give up their class established so that mean wars. He’s been aggressive in his timelines but things are coming around if look across the world; many jobs are being displaced already, self driving cars are available, movies are replacing actors, music is being made with fake voices or dead singers voices and its getting hard to tell whats real and not when watching videos. Propaganda is being spread using AI, Govts are using it and investing heavily. What’s it all mean tho, people become slaves to AI? We will be like the animals and AI rules the world? Honestly tho I’ll be glad if they take over some roles like judges, police, doctors - no feelings just what’s right and wrong based on fact, no racist or biased opinions (unless programmed that way), and the highest level of information available.

There’s so much in the news, and we in Canada can watch like it’s entertainment but it is so real and fast, and affects us so much. The US changes with each election, from one extreme to the other. Trump is pushing the limits, wants to be remembered, a legacy, and doesn’t want to end up in jail when he’s out of office. I can understand wanting to protect the US interests, secure up the close countries that are allowing enemy take overs and military bases, try keep the US out of bankruptcy, and try keep a hold of the monetary system. Could do it a bit more cool but got to hand it to him, has made the stock markets keep doing well, I know my pension keeps growing like never before and I’m just wondering when do I cash out somemore before things crash! Travel to the US is way down, what better way than close air space, then threaten other Caribbean and hot spots, make people think twice of visiting Cuba, Mexico, anywhere else.
