Simon and I have always had green thumbs. 🌿
In the seven years we’ve been together, we’ve lived in 7 different houses (and this one we’re staying in for a while so help me God!) aaand somehow, in every single one, we’ve talked about how much we’d love to have a greenhouse one day, for my veggies & flowers and his tropicals🌻
So when we found this house and it just happened to have a greenhouse, it felt like such a special little bonus. It wasn’t a dealbreaker or something we needed in our next home, especially because this one needs quite a bit of love.. but we are ridiculously happy to have it!
The greenhouse is actually around 100 years old, which makes it even more special. Reviving it and bringing it back to life is going to be one of our projects over the next little while (yes hunny, another project 🫠)
We’re excited to grow food and flowers, fill it with our tropical plants, and make it a space we actually live in and enjoy. We already love sitting out there after the sun goes down, and I can’t wait to host friends in there, have late-night drinks surrounded by plants, and sit inside listening to the rain on those warm, stormy summer nights. ⛈️🌿🥂
After 7 houses and so many “one day we’ll have a greenhouse” conversations… one day is finally here 🥰
Feeling very lucky and grateful that this little 100-year-old greenhouse gets to be ours to revive, enjoy and make memories in. 🤍
