I get asked all the time if the Guelph housing market will ever get back to the record high numbers in the April of 2017. The answer is simple - It depends what type of home you are buying or selling.

While there has been steady growth in all Guelph homes prices since the start of 2018, it is only when we break down the type of home that we are able to see where the true growth is happening. Condo and Townhomes have not only met the highs of 2017 but they have surpassed them!

Condominium + 9.7%
April 2017 - $319,125
April 2019 - $350,000

Townhome + 12.6%
April 2017 - $412,000
April 2019 - $464,000

Simply put Townhomes and Condo's make for a great investment and have proven to have above average growth over the past 2 years.
