We initiated the demo phase this week in preparation for our comprehensive kitchen renovation, which entails removing a pass-through wall, installing new flooring and lighting, and introducing new cabinets with a revised footprint and a modern backsplash. We were recently brought into a basement project intended to become a legal accessory apartment. What started as a “cheap build” uncovered major deficiencies in construction, plumbing, HVAC, and code compliance.

Normally we see customers only request backsplash to cabinet height (about 18”) high, with the exception of the range area. This time we had the opportunity to do the full wall area as there are no uppers on the window wall.
It now completes the kitchen with a much more dramatic look.
