Everett brings to Engel & Völkers a great passion for and extensive customer service experience in multiple languages, both locally and internationally. Following a successful career in computer software sales that afforded Everett the tremendous opportunity to live and work on five continents around the world, he found his home on Cape Breton Island.
In 1998, Everett co-founded a family-owned land investment/development company in Richmond County, which is still successful today. His academic credentials include a BA in Modern Languages (French, Spanish, German)/International Relations from McGill University, as well as an MBA in Management Information Systems/Operations Research from Concordia University, both located in Montreal, where Everett grew up.
In addition to Everett’s deep love and respect for the land and natural beauty of Cape Breton Island, he enjoys local music of Gaelic and Acadian origins, as well as hiking, boating, and golf around the Bras d’Or Lakes in his free time! Everett’s latest passion is drone videography, capturing the beauty of Cape Breton and sharing the fruits of his hobby on the internet as an ambassador and valued resource to those interested in learning more.
