If nearby, you beauties should go and visit Delish Fine Foods in the St Margaret's Bay area of Nova Scotia...

Whilst filming 'Small Town Escapes with Colin and Justin' (HGTV Rogers Citytv) we enjoyed two crew lunches at this fun wee spot, and the food was astounding. Dennis and Linda, the couple who run Delish, are fantastic hosts and the accompanying shop, packed as it is with UK goodies, is next level. The food is classic UK deli/bakery: crispy sausage rolls, tasty pastas, plump pasties, and utterly no bu****it whatsoever. It's really impressive - give it a try.

The whole community of shops, in fact, and the surrounding plaza of businesses, is very welcoming. They're all working extra hard during tough conditions whilst the surrounding roads are being excavated and the resultant congested traffic is tricky. Go visit - you WON'T be disappointed!

We love that we travel so much, and remain grateful for the opportunity, but, wherever we are, we always feel perpetually homesick for Scotland... even though we feel SO at home in Canada. Visiting Delish (Denis and Linda are from the UK) felt like stepping back in to our other homeland. They're good, good people...
