A little late to the New Year post, but here we are. This photo pretty much sums up our Christmas. Everyone coming and going, pulled in different directions, fitting in moments when we could. Some seasons are busier than others, and that’s okay. What matters is finding the time to come together when it counts.

Monday morning, snow falling and snow on noses. Not quite Christmas yet, but the holiday season is definitely starting to take hold. There’s a buzz in the air, plans coming together, and that stretch before everything gets busy. I’m counting down to having my kids home from university, soaking up that bit of magic that always happens before Christmas. As a mum, I know the exhaustion comes after… but for now, I’m leaning into this part❄️💕.

There’s something about this room that instantly feels calm. The soft wallpaper, the layered patterns, and that little peek into the bathroom. It’s such a pretty, peaceful mix.

With the days getting shorter, I find myself craving the quiet comfort of my bedroom even more. There’s something about soft colours and a calm space that feels like a little sanctuary at the end of the day. Creating rooms that truly restore you is one of my favourite parts of home.
