Nova Scotia Real Estate Appraisers Association NSREAA is a self-regulating association governed under the Real Estate Appraisers Act, 1998

NSREAA has the responsibility in the province of Nova Scotia to:

Regulate the practice of Real Estate Appraisal and its members in accordance with the Act and the Association By-laws. Establish, promote, and advance the interests of persons engaged in the practice of real estate appraisal. Establish, maintain, and develop standards of knowledge, skill, and efficiency in the practice of real estat

e appraisal. Establish, maintain, develop and enforce standards of professional ethics and practice for its members. Promote public awareness of the profession and the role of the Association and real estate appraisal in co-operation with other professional associations in order to serve and protect the public interest. Encourage studies in real estate appraisal and provide assistance for special studies and research.
