Some days we sit here and wonder if people truly understand what goes into this life.
Running a small business isnāt just āopening the doorsā and serving customers. Itās early mornings, late nights, missed moments, and sacrifices that most people will never see.
Itās being parents of four and having to say ānot tonightā more times than weād ever like.
Itās cancelling plans last minute because something broke, something didnāt show up, or because your business needs you more in that moment.
Charbel and I have poured everything we have into this place.Not just moneyā¦ but time, energy, tears, stress, and every ounce of ourselves.There are days we question everything. Days where it feels like no matter how hard we push, weāre not getting ahead. Days where weāre exhausted beyond words and still have to show up with a smile.
But then there are the other daysā¦
The days where the support from this community reminds us why we started. The days where we see our kids watching us, learning from us, understanding what hard work, resilience, and dedication truly look like.
Because at the end of the day, this isnāt just about a bakery.
This is about building something our kids can be proud of. Showing them what it means to keep going even when itās hard. Teaching them that nothing worth having comes easy.
And through all of thatā¦ weāve been working quietly behind the scenes for the past few months on something really special.
Something we are so incredibly proud of.
We are beyond excited (and honestly still a little in shock) to finally sayā¦
You can now find us at Peteās Frootique ā both the Dresden Row location AND the Bedford location ā¤ļø as we have officially just dropped off our first order.
This opportunity means more to us than we can even put into words. Itās a reminder that all those long nights, all those sacrifices, all those ākeep going even when it hurtsā momentsā¦ they are leading somewhere.
We are so grateful.To our staff, who stand beside us through the chaos. To our customers, who continue to choose us, support us, and believe in us. To our family, who holds us together on the hard days.
And to our kidsā¦
Everything we do is for you.
We donāt always get it perfect.
We donāt always get the time back.
But we hope one day youāll understand just how much love was behind every sacrifice.
This is just the beginningā¦ and we cannot wait to see where this journey takes us.
