Blasting Permit Secured at Skye Halifax

We’ve received the required blasting permit from Halifax Regional Municipality and are now preparing for the next phase of site work at Skye Halifax in downtown Halifax.

Crews will begin drilling into rock surfaces in advance of controlled blasting and the installation of tie-back anchors, which are essential for stabilizing excavation walls as work progresses to deeper levels.

Work will be carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, with a focus on safety and minimizing impacts.

More updates to come as progress continues.
