We need to talk about open houses. A valuable tool for both buyers and sellers, but sometimes buyers don't know how to make the most of these showings.
So here’s your cheat sheet!
1. Gauge the competition.
Take note of how many other buyers are there. If it's busy, you may have some competition.
3. Redefine your non-negotiables.
Seeing homes in person may give you a better sense of what your real needs and wants are in a home.
4. Be selective.
Focus on listings that fit your criteria for budget and location.
5. Take notes.
Jot down the things you like, and those you don't. But remember, you don't know who's listening, so keep those thoughts to yourself until afterward.
