𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝟯.𝟴𝟭 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀, meaning that at the current pace of sales, it would take approximately 3.81 months to sell the homes currently available if no new homes were listed. 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟯𝟲 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁.

𝗔𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆. The trailing six-month average sale price sits at $607,948, up 0.9% from the previous year.

And here's a number sellers should pay attention to: of the 𝟰𝟯𝟬 𝗛𝗥𝗠 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁, 𝟯𝟭𝟱 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲, while only 27% sold at or above asking. There were also 146 price changes during the month.

𝘼 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙢𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙉𝙤𝙫𝙖 𝙎𝙘𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙖 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚 🤍

My passion for homes and real estate started long before I ever had a career. I grew up in a real estate household, and when teachers asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always the same: a Realtor.

After high school, I studied Interior Design, followed by earning my real estate licence in 2014. I soon began combining my love of design with real estate by staging my own listings. When other agents began asking me to stage their properties, my staging company in Oakville, Ontario was born.

Then the pandemic gave me a reason to rethink what I wanted from life. I wanted more space, a slower pace and a coastal lifestyle.

So I did something a little crazy: I bought a house in Nova Scotia sight unseen, packed up my life in Ontario and moved east.

Today, Nova Scotia is home to me, my partner and our two dogs. My parents and brother followed soon after, and my brother is now an integral part of my business.

Having made the move myself, I know that relocating is about more than finding a house. It’s about finding a community, a lifestyle and a place to build your next chapter.

I came looking for a different way of life. I found home. 🤍
