Some closings deserve a full on photoshoot.

A few days after closing, I stopped by to drop off her gift… and somehow that turned into this. 😂📸 And honestly, I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

First-time homebuyer.
Did it on her own.
Knew what she wanted.
And refused to settle.

And neither did I.

There were houses we could have made work. Houses that checked most of the boxes. Houses where it would’ve been easy to say, “Maybe this is good enough.”

But buying your first home is a BIG deal and “good enough” wasn’t what we were looking for.

We waited. We searched. We laughed A LOT along the way… and eventually, we walked into the one that just felt right.

Her house. 🥹🏡

One of my favourite parts of this job is that sometimes you start with a client and somewhere between the showings, offers, phone calls and life conversations, you end up with a friend.

So incredibly proud of this girl and what she accomplished.

Congratulations, homeowner. You did this on your own. 🤍🔑

And yes… apparently professional closing-day photoshoots are part of my services now, full service realtor 😂

Not quite summer… but the sprouting flowers, sunshine, and front porch mornings are definitely trying to convince me otherwise 🌿☀️

Spring cleanup can feel overwhelming after a long winter, but small changes make a huge difference when getting your home show-ready.

A few easy things to tackle:
• Sweep and wash the front porch/walkway
• Add fresh flowers or planters
• Clean windows and front door glass
• Put away winter clutter/tools
• Touch up peeling paint or faded decor
• Fresh mulch = instant curb appeal

Fun fact about me… my favourite kind of porch is one you can people-watch from with a hot coffee in hand ☕️🏡
Something about a lived-in, welcoming front porch just feels like home.

Fresh air. Blooming flowers. Good vibes.

A little bit about me outside of real estate 🤍

Before real estate, I spent 10 years in childcare and another 10 years working kindergarten with the school board , which probably explains my patience, calmness under pressure, and ability to manage a hundred things at once 😅 Somewhere in there, I also built a home staging business while maintaining a full-time position and mothering.

Over the years I naturally became deeply involved in property management, renovations, and project management as well. I own real estate , manage investment properties, and have been hands-on through renovations right from the studs to the final finishes.

Truthfully though, it was never just about the pay check for me. I’ve always loved the hustle, the challenge, the people, the conversations, and the feeling of seeing a need and wanting to help fill it.

That’s probably why I approach real estate the way I do.

I don’t look at my clients as transactions or numbers. I look at every situation personally, the same way I would if it were my own family walking through it. I carry the stress with them, the excitement, the uncertainty, the pressure, and the “are we making the right decision?” moments.

Whether someone is buying their first home, upsizing, downsizing, investing, going through divorce, loss, or a major life transition… I understand the emotional side of it mostly because I’ve walked/lived through so much of it myself. I know firsthand that real estate is rarely “just a transaction.”

Behind every move is usually a story, a fresh start, a dream, a heartbreak, or a family trying to build something better.

And somewhere between the showings, negotiations, moving days, and late-night phone calls… many of my clients become genuine friends.

My clients matter deeply to me. So do my kids, my home, my health, my faith, and the life I’m building behind the scenes.

Laundry on the other hand… that sometimes takes the back seat 😅

The peace I carry through all of it doesn’t come from me it comes from above 🤍

Cinco de Mayo isn’t Mexico’s Independence Day 🇲🇽
It marks the Battle of Puebla.... When a smaller Mexican army defeated a much larger force.

A reminder that strategy, guidance, and the right people matter… especially when the odds aren’t in your favour.
