One oversized ensuite, completely reimagined. 👀
This space had tons of square footage, but the original layout just wasn’t making the most of it. We completely redesigned it and turned one oversized room into two highly functional spaces.
The new ensuite features a massive walk-in shower with a spacious bench, wall-to-wall niche, large-format wall tile, mosaic shower floor, quartz niche and bench top, matte black fixtures and custom glass. We also added a new window to bring more natural light into the space, along with a double vanity, new tile flooring, pot lights, updated lighting and finishes throughout.
By reworking the layout and opening up the adjoining space from the opposite side, we were also able to create a dedicated laundry room complete with built-in shelving/cabinetry, butcher-block folding counters and a barn door.
And while we were at it, we added a new basement laundry area as well.
A complete redesign that took a poorly used oversized ensuite and turned it into multiple spaces that actually work for the home.
