I’m not too sure what more buyers want right now?! 🤦🏻♀️
✨ now is the time to buy 💴 home values are down roughly 20% from “covid prices”, days on market are longer than usual, and inventory is UP UP UP ( more choices for home buyers) And not too mention, interest rates have come down.
These are the factors that make up the perfect time to buy. 💪🏼
You could be taking advantage of the market right now, get yourself into something great, and start to build your equity!
✨ the average buyer purchases their first home and only stays in it for 3-5 years. So don’t worry if it doesn’t check all your boxes! Just make sure it has good bones for resale value, and a few things you can update on your own…. Because who doesn’t love a little sweat 😓 equity!
✨ I completely understand that we are in a buyers market, and when I’m representing a buyer, I’m all about getting you the BEST DEAL POSSIBLE, but you have to remember, certain homes still hold their value due to location, updates etc, sellers are educated on comparables the same way buyers are, and motivation can show through their listing price. Not every seller is willing or able to just “give their home away” if you see a listing that has been sitting for 30+ days, it might not mean something is wrong with it, they may just be waiting for a buyer who sees the value in their home.
✨ Submitting an offer and negotiating can be a very emotional experience for buyers, and it can bring out a lot of different feelings, let your realtor be your voice of reason! After all, at the end of the day, you should be in the market to secure a place to call home, you shouldn’t be in the market to walk away from opportunities due to stubborn pride.
