The best part about this deal is how creative we got as a team and not only were we able to make this purchase happen for Talia under unique circumstances due to her job status, we ALSO helped her parents refinance and get a better rate on their own home, saving the whole family a ton of money 💰 A win-win-win in my books!! ✨

🎉 Closing Day 🥂

This was the year of buyers for me as an agent! Lots of happy faces (and mileage) to add to the portfolio!!!

One notable thing to mention : the last 3 of my recent transactions (in the last month, all with different brokers, banks and lenders) have taken an unusual amount of time on getting financing conditions waived, like 2-3x the usual timeline requested 😅 it’s required a lot of patience and constant reassurance to my clients, lots of nail biting on my part thats for sure. BUT, this to say, you’re not alone!

💰Banks are overwhelmed with mortgage renewals and sadly, people defaulting on their payments so its been, slow to say the least! 🐢

Trust that your agent and mortgage broker are doing everything they can, but don’t shy away from putting on the pressure (it sucks, but it helps) to make sure things are moving along! If you feel you’re being put on the back burner, make sure your agent is getting those extensions and protecting your deposit if timelines cant be met! Be proactive and work with your real estate team to stay ahead of the game and anticipate any potential downfall while banks and lenders are working on getting their 💩together!

Back to work!! 🤓

Taking time off from real estate is SO difficult! We have clients who rely on us to be available, basically 24/7. If we miss one single email, it could cost us thousands of dollars, literally. But it is so incredibly necessary 😅 The only way I can show up for you 100% is by putting my oxygen mask on first 😷🛟

Disconnected completely for almost 3 weeks, ran away to the backcountry 🛶 and I am feeling FRESHHH!!! 🤩 Let’s go!
