We agree:

(1) Get everything in writing before agreeing to work with the specific Sales Rep. and at all times before signing the Buyer Representation Agreement.

(2) Since the Trade and All Brokerage Agreements are done in the name of the Brokerage and not in the name of the REALTOR® (Sales Rep. or Broker), we suggest that you have the Broker of Record (the Authority for the Brokerage) sign the Rebate/ Cash Back Agreement.

And Finally,

(3) We suggest that your Rebate/ Cash Back Agreement clearly state that the "Rebate or Cash Back" will be provided by the Brokerage by way of the Brokerage's Cheque. The Brokerage has probably been in business long before the REALTOR® you are working with and as a reputable Brokerage, it should be around a lot longer than any individual REALTOR®. So, having the Brokerage be responsible for paying your Rebate or Cash Back, rather than an individual REALTOR®, should provide a higher level of confidence that you'll get the Rebate you agreed to and were promised.
