so we won $5,000 damages at the LTB, paid by the owner of the property for the gross negligence and incompetence of failed businessman of the year, the donald trump of hamilton, the slumlord of the cockroach motel, millionaire grifter and financial abuser, roger auger.

we shall continue to be a hub for anyone who wants to collaborate against auger. like all bullies he is a weak and pathetic individual who feeds on fear.

he always loses in court so get yourself a lawyer because dealing with this parasite will drain your soul and take all the joy out of your life. he only wins when his victims give up. solidarity and good luck.

UPDATE. the legal proceedings against auger have obviously been delayed due to global events overtaking us. we have had the first hearing and we have the legal support to claim 5 figures for the gross incompetence and negligence which characterized the property mismanagement of roger auger.

it takes a lot of time and resources to gain justice via the LTB, defunded by doug ford, in a town like hamilton, run by gangsters, corrupt local officials and bylaw officers but we have persisted.

most of the people in the building who took a stand againt auger have given up or lost. he uses the broken system to grind people down so he can carry on robbing decent families to feed his own.

he was managing our building for less than a year. he cut all services to the buildng, hiked the rents, forced families to move out and put the elderly and disabled residents who couldnt move due to ill health through hell.

work is now being done on the building by rentperks and a new boiler was installed 3 weeks ago which means for the first time we have a functioning heating system which meets the legal minimum requirements.

just in time for the lockdown.

your biggest outgoing expense is housing. if your landlord was taking $50 less a month you could feed the family, you could buy a kid a winter coat. instead it goes into their bank account.

the problem is low wages against the aggressive disaster capitalism of income property and rents which reflect the owners need to make as much money as possible and nothing to do with actual reality.

The organization overseeing Ontario's food banks says residents with full and part-time jobs are increasingly reaching out for help to put food on their tables.
