Dear Nrithyalayam Family, (sorry for long message)
As we return home with hearts full of beautiful memories, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who made our Nrithyalayam Picnic and Camping trip such a wonderful success.
First and foremost, a very special and heartfelt thank you to Anusha Kunisetti and Keerthi Munaga for taking on the enormous responsibility of planning, coordinating, and organizing this entire event. From the very beginning, you both invested countless hours into making sure every detail was thoughtfully planned and executed. From coordinating with families, organizing activities, planning meals, managing logistics, and handling countless behind-the-scenes tasks, your dedication was truly remarkable.
A special mention goes to the fact that both of you even spent an entire afternoon shopping to make sure all the necessary supplies, snacks, and camping essentials were available. That extra effort speaks volumes about your commitment and love for our Nrithyalayam family. Many of these efforts happen behind the scenes and often go unnoticed, but they made all the difference in creating such a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you for your selfless dedication and tireless hard work.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to Srivallii and Bharathi K. for standing beside the organizers throughout the event and extending your help every step of the way. Your willingness to jump in wherever needed, support the team, and ensure everything ran smoothly made a tremendous difference. Your positive attitude and teamwork were deeply appreciated.
One of the greatest highlights of the weekend was watching our children simply be children. They laughed, played games, explored nature, sang, danced, bonded with one another, and created memories that will last a lifetime. Perhaps the most remarkable achievement was that the kids happily chose to stay away from their phones for two full days! Instead of screens, they chose friendships, conversations, outdoor adventures, and shared experiences. That is something truly special and a memory we will all cherish.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the food arrangements. The potluck was absolutely amazing! Every family brought delicious dishes prepared with so much love and generosity. The incredible variety of food reflected the warmth and caring spirit of our community, and every shared meal brought us closer together. Special thanks for 8 Kgs of Potato curry and YOGURT !!! Please accept my apologies for the rice item (the only Item I got was messed up). A small suggestion that we should add kids friendly dishes next time.
A very special thank you to Navarasa for the wonderful dinner. Your generosity and support added so much to our camping experience, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal.
A big thank you to all the dads and everyone who helped set up and take down the camping tents. Your hard work, teamwork, and willingness to lend a helping hand made the entire camping experience possible. Setting up and packing away tents is no small task, but thanks to your support, everything was completed quickly and efficiently.
What stood out most throughout the weekend was the incredible spirit of teamwork and togetherness. Everyone stepped in wherever help was needed without hesitation, without keeping score, and without any sense of selfishness. Whether it was setting up camp, preparing food, serving meals, organizing activities, cleaning up, looking after the children, or packing everything away, people simply saw what needed to be done and volunteered with a smile. It was truly inspiring to witness everyone helping one another so naturally and wholeheartedly. This spirit of selfless service and community is what makes Nrithyalayam so much more than just a dance school—it is a family.
To every family who attended the picnic and to those who stayed for the camping experience, thank you for your enthusiasm, participation, cooperation, and wonderful company. Your laughter, positive energy, willingness to help, and support for one another made this gathering such a joyful and memorable experience. It was wonderful to see friendships grow stronger, new friendships blossom, and our children and families create unforgettable memories together. It was great pleasure to see all the moms sitting together and enjoying the day and till late night !
Events like these remind us that Nrithyalayam is not just a place where we learn dance. It is a community built on friendship, culture, teamwork, kindness, and shared experiences. Weekends like this strengthen the bonds between our families and create memories that our children will carry with them for years to come.
Once again, our heartfelt thanks to Anusha Kunisetti, Keerthi Munaga, Srivallii, Bharathi K., every family who prepared and shared food, everyone who helped with setting up and taking down the tents, every volunteer who stepped in wherever needed, and every family who joined us. Each and every one of you played an important role in making this weekend such an unforgettable success, including helping me as I struggle sitting and standing time to time.
Girls, I am so proud of each one of you! Seeing you practice your jathis in the beach water, even during a fun camping trip, was such a beautiful moment. It wasn't because anyone asked you to—it came naturally. That shows how deeply dance is a part of you. Nrithyam is truly in your blood, in your nerves, and in your hearts. Your passion, dedication, and love for dance shone through, and it made all of us incredibly proud. Keep nurturing that spirit, and continue dancing with the same joy and commitment wherever life takes you!
I feel sorry for those who missed this year and would love to make sure you don’t miss next year. Please note we will have picnic with much more fun the last week of June again next year.
