Two closings. Two fresh starts.

What a WEEK!

Closing day will always be one of my favourite parts of real estate. There’s something pretty special about watching someone stand in front of their new home, SOLD sign in hand, knowing what those keys actually represent.

This week, I got to celebrate TWO very different home-buying stories.

🏡 One buyer made the jump from renting to owning and it all came together quickly! They knew they wanted a single-detached home in Walkerville and we were able to find one they loved within their budget. There is nothing quite like handing someone the keys to a place they can finally call their own.

🚚 My other clients took on an even bigger adventure, relocating their family all the way from Thunder Bay to Chatham-Kent for work. I had the privilege of helping them navigate their home search from a distance, with one really important goal in mind: getting their family settled so their children could start the school year in their new community.

And we did it! ❤️ Only one week into the school year, they were getting the keys to their new home and beginning this next chapter together.

Different journeys. Different communities. Different reasons for moving.

But that moment when the SOLD sign goes up and you realize, “We did it.”

That never gets old.

Congratulations to both of these wonderful families. I hope your new homes are the beginning of so many good things to come. 🥂🔑

One of the things I love most about living and working in The Town of Essex is the opportunity to give back to the communities that support us every day.

This season, I had the privilege of sponsoring the referee jerseys for Harrow Minor Soccer. Referees play an important role in youth sports, developing leadership skills, confidence, responsibility, and a strong work ethic while helping younger players enjoy the game.
