PRESCOTT CONDOMINIUM CORPORATION No. 9 NEWSLETTER
To all Unit Owners/Residents:
This newsletter provides some basic information and condo rules to keep our Corporation beautiful and enjoyable place to live.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors for Prescott Condominium Corporation No. 9 is as follows:

The Board of Directors meets every couple of months or more frequently to discuss Corporation business as required.
If you have any concerns that you want addressed by the Board, please send them in writing to the Secretary, or by e-mail to [email protected]. All maintenance and repair inquiries and requests should be forwarded in writing in order to provide proper documentation to the Board of Directors. We also suggest that each unit owner review the Declaration in order to determine whether the Corporation or the individual is responsible for the repair.
Sale or lease of unit
The Board of Directors must be advised in writing when a unit is sold or leased and provided with the name and contact information of the new owner or tenant. It is incumbent on the owner to inform his tenant of the rules of the corporation.
Renovations/construction
Owners must seek permission in writing from the Board of Directors prior to undertaking any renovation or construction to a unit which will impact the common elements. Owners need to provide as much information as possible. Once the request is reviewed by the Board, the owner will be provided with a written response of the decision.
Garbage and recycle
Please dispose of your garbage in the container provided ensuring that you close the lid of the container to keep out vermin/animals.
Recycle collection is early Tuesday mornings and your container should be returned to your unit on the same day. Please remember to properly secure all paper products to prevent scattering in the wind. Recycle should be put out after 7:00 p.m. the night before, and before 7:00 a.m.
Parking
Handicap parking is reserved for permit holders only. Owners who hold a handicap permit are asked to refrain from parking along the fence which is used by dental offices clients. All residents must be prepared to move their vehicle at anytime, especially in case of emergency. Non-operational vehicles will be towed at owners expense. Vehicle repairs are not permitted in the parking areas.
Pet control
Local pet by-laws must be strictly observed. Dog(s) of any size must be leashed if they are walked on the common elements. Pet owners must ensure their pet(s) do not disturb residents. Should a pet(s) be deemed a “nuisance” it is within the power of the Board to have the animal(s) removed from the premises.
Elevator
Please ensure that visitors are compliant with the use of the elevator between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. Also please ensure that the gate of the elevator is always closed when exiting.
Building Security
Building access codes are not to be shared with non-residents. Please ensure you are available to accompany repair/service, or delivery personnel etc. Always ensure front and rear doors close completely.
Moving and/or deliveries (rear stairwell only)
The elevator should not be used to move extra large furniture or appliances. All moving or deliveries including extra large items should be made using the rear stairwell to prevent damage to the walls of the entrance. Please provide suppliers with a contact phone number for all deliveries.
Entrances (front and rear) and storage area
No items must be left at the entrances or storage area of the building. If you have items to give away or sell, place a notice on the bulletin board and retain item in your unit or storage unit.

No smoking
Residents and visitors are reminded that no smoking is permitted at anytime in the hallways, entrances, storage area or elevator.
