DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY: You will be responsible for accurate, timely performing duties involving data entry and organization of payroll, often weekly or twice in a week. The duties that make up the job description of most payroll assistants include ensuring the prompt and precise payment of employees salaries, as well as making appropriate and correct deductions from them. Initiate periodical payments timely either by preparing and administering cheques or making direct deposits through a bank payment system and Issues statements and invoices and maintain records. You are required to forward payroll and cheques reports to the supervisor for authorization and endorsement before issuing cheques to employees. Also perform records keeping and perform a variety of other office tasks account balancing, invoice recording, proper recording of pay slips into accounting databases all these will be done through the use of the Accounting Software.
