Mark your calendar October 17th RMWS will hosting the 2026 Cowboy Ball fundraiser, this event will be held at the Hinton Centre. Posters will be going up soon with information regarding activities and how to get tickets. More information to follow.

The History Through the Athabasca Valley presentation is coming to Edson!

Join Brule resident Ken Groat for a historical talk on the Athabasca Valley since the 1700s. The talk will be held at the Red Brick Arts Centre in Edson on September 5 at 1:30pm.

The road in the Rock Lake Park has been a concern for a number of years, starting from the Hay River Staging Area to the Commercial Staging Area is in the worst condition. We have been working on trying to to get it fixed and been talking to the authorities for quite some time and nothing is getting done. We need your help! This is the response we received yesterday:

We are working with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors to get the road going into Rock Lake taken care of.
