I remember when I first met Rick. We sat together at a Christmas party, he bought me a drink and we swapped stories. He saw something in me that I’ll never understand and took me under his wing. He became a mentor and more importantly a friend. We spent time working, having coffee dates and many phone call check-ins over the years. He always made space for me and never failed to gas me up when I was having a hard time, even when he was having a hard time himself. I’m so grateful to have learned from him professionally and more importantly witnessed his zest for life, love for his family and unwavering partnership with Sandra. I am forever grateful to have known him and learned from him. Rest easy Rick, you will be profoundly missed. ❤️
