There is nothing quite like the Bracebridge Fall Fair to officially kick off the fall season. After a week packed with home inspections, real estate offers, and the relentless hustle of back-to-school routines, this weekend was the exact reset our family needed.

Here are a few reasons why this local tradition has my heart:

➡️ The Reunion Factor: Bumping into old friends and neighbours you haven’t seen in ages around every corner.
➡️ The Eats: Indulging in hot poutine and classic candy apples (even if eating one when you’re seven and missing your front teeth is an absolute sport).
➡️ Local Talent: Hearing our incredible neighbours perform as a family on stage—so much talent in this community!
➡️ The Exhibits: Browsing the contest entries to see who took home the ribbon in every prize category (and sharing a polite laugh over the wonderfully creepy dolls in the vintage displays).

At the end of the day, it’s all about soaking in that classic small-town charm and enjoying uninterrupted quality time together. Grateful for our vibrant community, and proud to call Muskoka our home! 🍂🍁🍎

A trip to Baysville isn’t complete without a stop at Lynn Murden 🍓🫐 We’ve been loving their delicious preserves for years, but getting to wander around the shop and take it all in was such a treat.

Huge thank you to Lynn for pouring so much love into keeping this incredible local business thriving for so many years. Our tummies (and toast) are forever grateful!
