From the fiery reds of the Cabot Trail's northern tip to the golden hues rolling through the Bras d'Or Lake shoreline, every corner of the Island puts on its own show this October. Whether you're chasing crimson ridgelines or amber coastal trails, there's a peak window for every leaf chaser!

You might expect colours to peak north to south as cooler weather moves in, but it's actually the opposite here. After years of observation, we know forest type, elevation and temperature all play their part in this south-to-north progression.
