There are some projects that become so much more meaningful when everyone gets to be a part of them 💛
A few years ago, I had the privilege of sponsoring this community bench alongside Bos Welding & Fabrication After years of sunshine, rain, and harsh Canadian winters, it was ready for a little love.
Instead of simply restoring it, I thought… why not turn it into something that truly represents our community?
Yesterday, during Community Services Day at the Innisfil Farmers’ Market, so many wonderful families, friends, neighbours, and visitors stopped by to leave their painted handprints on the bench. Every handprint tells a story and represents kindness, connection, and the helping hands that make Innisfil such a special place to call home 👐🏽🎨
This bench is no longer just a place to sit, it’s a reminder that our community is strongest when we come together.
A heartfelt thank you to the Innisfil Farmers' Market for welcoming me to be part of such a wonderful day, and to every single person who took a moment to add their handprint. Your enthusiasm, smiles, and community spirit made this project so special.
I also want to thank Bos Welding & Fabrication for originally partnering with me to donate this bench. It’s been wonderful to see it given new life in a way that reflects the people who make this community so incredible.
