🏡 WHEN IS ENOUGH, ENOUGH IN INNISFIL?
Innisfil residents have already seen property taxes rise approximately 24.7% since 2021 — and projections suggest we could be facing roughly another 35% over the next five years.
Think about that.🤔
At a time when groceries, utilities, mortgages and almost everything else cost more, how much more can taxpayers realistically absorb?
We cannot continue spending today and simply hand the bill to taxpayers tomorrow.
Seniors should not fear being taxed out of homes they’ve lived in for decades. Young families should be able to afford to raise their children here. And hardworking residents shouldn’t have to wonder whether they can afford to remain in the community they helped build.
Mayor and Council need to remember: taxpayers are not an unlimited source of revenue.
We need responsible spending, better priorities and real accountability at Town Hall.
Innisfil belongs to its residents , and we need to make sure they can still afford to live here. 🏡❤️
