End of an Era! - CABIN SMOKEHOUSE
CABIN SMOKEHOUSE is now closed for the season and will not be re-opening. We want to thank all the Panorama community, homeowners, and guests for your support over the last 19 years.
We, the Marshalls, have decided to close our food and beverage operations to concentrate on our original dream. As our web site states, “we moved here to pursue something for our family that was more satisfying and less material focused, whilst more fulfilling”.
This season has been the most successful we have ever had, and we are going out on a high. The transition over the years from feeding 10-15 people per night at Greys with a set fine dining menu, to full à la carte restaurant, to CABIN Smokehouse and bar, feeding approximately 700 people a week has been a roller coaster of a journey. Thank you to everybody who took the ride!
This year Earl Grey Lodge was awarded the “Best of the Best” top 1% in the world by TripAdvisor and we are revisiting our original vision by developing our accommodation offering for next winter. We are looking to provide alternative services which are currently not catered for at Panorama and provide another world class offering to the resort to attract a different generation of guests.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the 136 staff who have worked with us over the years, without you we would not be where we are today.
We, the Marshalls, all live at the mountain and are staying fully involved in the community and resort, we look forward to seeing you soon.
