24 years...

It's been a roller-coaster. Good, bad, and lot in-between- and definitely a few meetings!

My first UBCM, I was 21 years old, it was 2003. It was amazing, I've been hooked ever since.

I literally grew up in elected office. This annual conference has been one of the only constants in my life over the last 24 years.

And I don't regret it, the experiences, the memories, the learnings, and the people.

Especially the people, there are some special humans who put their heart and soul into local government. And it's been incredible to get to know many awesome people from across our incredible Province over the years.

There is so much more to say, but as my last UBCM conference as an electrd official comes to a close, I reflect on so many memories.

And I hope to shift into new opportunities.

I still care, I still want to be involved, but I am hoping to inspire, investigate, and inspire from the outside- I am not sure exactly how to do this but I think public speaking will be part of it.
