What a year.🌎✨
Serving as the President of the Rotary Club of Kamloops West has been one of the most challenging, stretching, and deeply rewarding chapters of my life. This past year brought heavy personal storms, but every single Thursday, walking into this room reminded me of the power of community.
I learned early on that a President is just a small cog in a massive, beautiful wheel. When my engine was running low, this club never stopped turning.
Look at what we built together this year:
❤️🔥Ignited our community through our Bollywood Night & Golf Card fundraisers.
🍎Stood on the front lines of local food security with our Spring & Fall Food Drives alongside Bernadette and the Kamloops Food Bank.
☕Brought connection and joy to our seniors at the Seniors' Tea.
🚰Extended our reach globally by funding vital clean water initiatives in Ecuador.
To my 2025–2026 Board and every single member: Thank you for your grace, your tireless hours, and for showing me what "Service Above Self" truly means. I am profoundly grateful.
Now, the best part of leadership is passing the torch. This week, we officially installed our incoming President, Rob Lemire, and his fantastic new Board. Rob, the gavel is yours. Trust the wheel, lean on the room, and enjoy the ride. You’re going to kill it! 🦅🔨
