Making the decision!

I was entrusted to sell this 94-year-old senior's condo as she had decided to DOWNSIZE to a retirement home.

I slowly guided her through the steps to downsize and in the end she loved her new surroundings.

"I could never downsize - I'd feel like I'm giving up too much."

I often hear people express their reluctance to downsize because they feel like they would be giving up too much. This is a common concern, and I completely understand it. We tend to form attachments to our living spaces, daily routines, and familiar nooks. However, having helped numerous clients transition to smaller homes, I have learned a valuable lesson: comfort is not defined by square footage.

Consider this – how many rooms in your current home do you actually use on a daily basis? How much time do you spend cleaning areas that hardly get any foot traffic? How many neglected corners gather dust while you spend money to heat and cool them?
