Nearly 30 years ago, my brother Ryan and I stepped onto the mats at the Lake Country Judo Club. I'd grown up in the striking world of Chito Ryu Karate at my dad's dojo, the Winfield Karate Club, so I was drawn to something completely different and wanted to learn how to grapple. The sensei was a man named Bob, training right beside his son, Keith, both black belts at the time. Never would I have guessed that all these years later I'd have the honor of helping Keith and his family with something this big. 🎉
Congratulations to Keith, Kim and their daughter Hope on the sale of their family home! After putting down roots and building a life in West Kelowna, they've decided to downsize into a gorgeous downtown apartment, and I couldn't be happier for them.
